The 2" male NPS threaded dual action vent features a 4 PSI spring designed for use in 6" fill port caps with a 2" female pipe thread. It is manufactured from FDA food grade materials, utilizing a strong glass coupled polypropylene constructed under an ISO 9000 quality management system. Each adapter is bagged and labeled for cleanliness and ease of identification. The CPP glass coupled polypropylene material is rated to 150 PSI and is suitable for most chemicals carried in IBC totes. The thread specifications include a 2" NPS female pipe thread with an outside diameter of 59.6 mm (2.35") and a thread pitch of 2.21 mm (0.09") with 11.5 TPI, compliant with ANSI B1.20.1-1983. This thread type is commonly found on 6" fill port caps on all American IBCs. Note: BSP fittings are compatible with NPS/NPT valves or adapters with a 2" diameter or smaller, applicable for plastic fittings only.
