The reducer from male buttress valve to 1" hose barb is designed to connect a 1" hose with a swivel ring, facilitating easy assembly and preventing hose twisting. It is manufactured from FDA food grade materials, featuring a robust glass coupled polypropylene construction that is produced under an ISO 9000 quality management system. Each adapter is individually bagged and labeled to ensure cleanliness and ease of identification. The CPP glass coupled polypropylene material is rated for a pressure of 150 PSI and is suitable for most chemicals typically carried in intermediate bulk containers (IBCs). The threaded details include a S60 x 6 buttress thread, with an outside diameter of 60.0 mm (2.36 inches) and a thread pitch of 6.00 mm (0.24 inches), adhering to DIN standard 6131. This thread type is the most common found on European IBCs from manufacturers such as Schütz, Mauser, SOTRALENZ, Werit, and Fustiplast.
