Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics high-performance tanks are designed with CAD-based precision using the highest quality virgin resins, ensuring durability and suitability for general purpose applications. These translucent tanks feature molded-in graduations for easy measurement and are rated for use with media of 1.8 specific gravity. When a fiberglass casing is applied, the rating increases to 2.2 specific gravity, providing structural support and preventing bulging at the bottom of the tank. Casings are essential for applications involving media with a specific gravity exceeding 1.8 or under prolonged elevated temperatures. Optional factory-installed casings are available for separate purchase and must be acquired alongside the tank.
