Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics high-performance tanks are engineered with exacting CAD-based designs and constructed from the highest quality virgin resins, making them suitable for general purpose applications. These translucent tanks feature molded-in graduations for easy measurement. Open-top tanks are rated for use with media of 1.8 specific gravity, and when equipped with a fiberglass casing, this rating increases to 2.2. The casings provide essential structural support, preventing bulging at the bottom of the tank, and are required for media with specific gravity greater than 1.8 or for prolonged use at elevated temperatures. An optional factory-installed casting is available for purchase separately alongside the tank.
