The flange mount bearing kit features a one-piece housing with a rust-proof plated finish, designed to withstand misalignment and reduce vibration and noise due to its bearing insert encased in a non-conductive, oil-resistant rubber liner that corrects up to 2° of misalignment. The kit includes two set screws for secure attachment. Available options include housing units made from die-cast zinc, pressed steel, and pressed stainless steel. The die-cast zinc housings are lightweight and non-corrosive, equipped with either a bronze bearing or ball bearing insert. Pressed steel housings are coated with a rust-proof finish and can also utilize bronze or ball bearing inserts. The stainless steel housings are USDA/FDA approved and come with UHMW-PE bearing inserts, making them suitable for wash-down applications in wet or harsh environments. Moreover, the solid UHMW-PE bearings are entirely composed of UHMW-PE, are self-lubricating, and also USDA/FDA approved.
