The one-piece housing features a rust-proof plated finish designed for durability. The bearing insert is encased in a non-conductive, oil-resistant rubber liner that accommodates up to 2° of misalignment while effectively reducing vibration and noise. Each assembly includes two set screws for secure installation. Flange mount bearings are offered with housing units crafted from die-cast zinc, pressed steel, and pressed stainless steel. Die-cast zinc housings are lightweight and non-corrosive, available with either a bronze bearing or ball bearing insert, while pressed steel housings are plated for rust resistance and can also be equipped with bronze or ball bearing inserts. The stainless steel housings are USDA/FDA approved, featuring UHMW-PE bearing inserts that are particularly suited for wash-down applications in wet or harsh environments. Additionally, solid UHMW-PE bearings, which are made entirely from UHMW-PE, are also USDA/FDA approved and provide self-lubricating properties.
